Besmirching Squirrels

For no apparent reason, I have created this blog. For reasons even less apparent, I have called my blog Besmirching Squirrels.

This blog has no purpose. I have no political, social, or economic changes I wish to see made. I wanted to post my random thoughts and stories. Instead of clogging every one's eMail with random stories, I thought I would post my maniac ramblings on line. I hope you find them either entertaining, thought provoking, or a good way to pass the time.

I was meeting friends out. I cam in with one younger friend, who got carded, then me. I asked if they carded everyone. He said no, "only people I think could be in their 20's". Oh happy day!

I was traveling for work, and I was told this was a good brewpub. The food was okay, the beer was good, but the highlight was getting carded and getting a "I thought you could be close enough to check, hon." Yep, sometimes I miss living in the South.

I was carded getting beer before the Weezer show. I didn't ask, but I thought they were carding everyone, until my friend Anne (who is younger than me) didn't get carded. It's a bit grey (like me), but I am going to say this one counts.

Was carded by the waitress before going to see "Tron: Legacy" on opening night (judge me if you must; I don't care). I checked to see if she carded everyone; she said she thought I could have been close. The streak continues....

I asked and I was told that she was not checking everyone. She thought I could be close to 21, but I think she was being nice. It was Friday and I think she read the stress, and I think she was doing this to be nice.
